Jannik Sinner has officially been crowned the best tennis player of 2024! During the prestigious ceremony organized by ATP officials, Sinner received the trophy for his outstanding season, just before the highly anticipated match between Alexander Zverev and Andrey Rublev.
The award was presented to him by former world number one Boris Becker, alongside ATP President Andrea Gaudenzi, recognizing Sinner’s incredible achievements. A special video was shown on the big screen, where top tennis players congratulated Sinner on his exceptional season.

“I want to thank my team and everyone who truly understands and supports me. I’m lucky to have them by my side; without them, this wouldn’t be possible. It’s especially a pleasure to share this joy here in Italy,” said Sinner.
In 2024, Sinner achieved remarkable results, winning two Grand Slam titles, seven more trophies, and securing 66 victories with only six losses. He secured the world number one spot several weeks before the end of the season, etching his name in tennis history.
“Being number one means you’re among the chosen few. It requires consistent play at the highest level. I’m grateful for the incredible people who have been with me throughout my career, and it’s important to keep them by my side as I continue this journey,” Sinner stated.
